24FEB2025 I yam a little confused with my sails ...
Knew that I was VERY disappointed with my country sails ...
The GA GTX 8.5 and the GA Swift 10-oh (both cambered)
I also knew I had Helmut's Retro 8.5 (and NOT in great shape)
So, rather than doing a FULL inventory I bought a SW Retro 9-oh
from 30noeuds ... It will replace ALL my sails up North !!
Cannot get pic from 30noeuds - ad is gone & no answer 2 email
somehow found the pic with an old link ...
however, this means I do NOT like dealing with them
besides the fact dude was on the phone when I entered
did NOT acknowledge me until 5 minutes later
when he was done with his private call = BAD BUSINESS
...and did NOT like the new location nor setup (there 3 years)

19FEB2026 Well, here we are ten daze/days later ...
So, I went down to the local river again ..
It was a beautiful day with -7 on the dash, sunny and 10-15kph NE
There seemed ta be at least 4 inches of snow and as much as 8 at times ...
I was looking at the snowmobile tracks and that got me thinkin ...
They are HEAVY and barely sink - okay lotsa force, butt still ...
Went with boots in the backyard and sank about 9+ inches into the snow
With one or two skis (no diff) sank about 4.5" = half as deep
The ski model should work --> maybe try it Saturday ? 20-30kph NE

09FEB2026 Went with the shovel - as suggested 3 days ago ...B.Lo
It was about -11 degrees C and wind WSW 15-20kph
Actually felt kinda cold !! Then again, NO gloves lol
It was NOT easy to shovel everywhere, butt ice was GOOD !!
Supposed to get 10cm fresh snow tomorrow ... with wind !!

06FEB2026 Went and checked the local river, Rivière Milles Isles ...
There were about 3-4 inches of fluffy snow on the ice ...
We are to get some more snow soon ... and then weird weather ...
warm then cold or vice versa ...
My next verification is with a shovel - to see if I can make runways ...

17JAN2026 Well, we haf had even MORE shit weather ...
...as in rain AND warmer temps ..
I stepped into about 8 inches of water on my way out onto the lake !!
......Good thing I had my BIG boots lol
Some parts of East/West runway were okay and cleared ..
The NW runway was NOT cleared last time nor this time
It was really NOT worth it and woulda bin TOO MUCH WORK !!

14JAN2026 As I predicted ... this winter is cold OR snow ...
What I did NOT anticipate were the warmer temps n rain
My intention was to shovel both of my "runways"
That one is for West and Easterlies 
After I finished shoveling that 100 meters of wet snow...
There was NO wind and I was too tired to do another one
plus some BC HomeGrown in an Arizer AirMax 😛

Well, here we are in a New Year and once again ...
.................I yam analyzing my quiver ...
The winter quiver was analyzed and I almost purchased a 6.5m² Wing ...
.........................BUTT did KNOT lol
I finished 2025 with runways at the lake - ice skateboard & ice windsurfer ...
...So, I started looking at my summer quiver ...

...and ... I was wondering ... "what needs replacement" ?
I started looking at the Fanatic Bee 124 LTD as THE BOARD
When I looked at the BEE history ... I had exchanged the fin ..
...and the exchanged fin seems to haf bin lost - in the water ??
That board should be about to handle 6-8.5m² sails !!
......and that covers MOST of my sessions !!
